I have an 84 Blazer with a 305 and auto. When I put it in gear, it clunks. It also does this when it downshifts. The downshifts are also harsh. What could the clunk be? Thanks

Check the Tranny fluid level and also the U-joints in the drive shaft. I have had both case the tranny to jump of clunk in to gear. I could also be on it's way south so be prepared to spend some money if every thing looks good.

OOOPS.... I THINK I JUST RAN OVER YOUR JEEP THING!!!!!!
