I'm having a pretty bad clunking sounds coming from the front when I turn or hit a tire. Can't find any cracks in the frame . I jacked the truck up and I can move the driver's side front tire a few millimeters up and down. Would this cause the clunking I'm hearing? It's pretty loud and I can kind of feel it too. Bad ball joints maybe? Thanks

Sounds like ball joints to me, I think I got that beginning to happen to my passenger side wheel. Whenever I go up inclines turned toward the passenger side I get a clunk.

have you check to see that your front springs arent moving around in the packs, i have no front clip on my leaf springs to keep them from moving side to side, either it broke off or somthing. i got that same sound for a while. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
