i just finished swapping a 465/205 combo into my 89. (was 700r4/241) everything seems to work fine. but after a bit of time in the mud, now when i make a left turn i have half a pedal when i make a right turn the pedal is tight... it is mechanical set up and i cant seem to see anything bent or broken any sugestions? (driving straight pedal has 1/4 play...)

you mean play as in how far you can push down before it engages? Being as its mechanical its subject to all the frame twisting and moving almost sounsd like you could use some new body mounts there.

    sounds like body bushings.

as you know pedal is atached to body, prety much everything else to the frame. so as the truck flexes in a corner you get the play. the mounts just under the driver get bad all the time.
