I HAVE A 305 84 BLAZER. THE CLUTCH HAS BEEN REDONE BY A FRIEND AND IT SEEMS TO LET OUT HIGH. IT GRABS THEN LET S GO AND THE CARB SEEMS TO DIE THEN THE CLUTCH GRABS AGAIN AND EVERYTHING IS FINE. I BOUGHT AN EDELBROCK CARB WHICH I AM GOING TO INSTALL AND I'D LIKE TO KNOW WHAT I CAN DO ABOUT THE CLUTCH. ALSO WILL BE ADDING AN MSD IGNITION.

Please don't type in all caps *holding arms over face*. Aaahhhhhhhh! They are so distracting. Did it start acting up right after the clutch was replaced?

I changed the clutch because it went south. Before it went it worked ok. I was reading another post where a guy describes the same problem. It was suggested to him that it could be the choke or other carb probelms. I'm changing the carb to an edelbrock so we'll see how that goes. Also can it be something with the clutch. some other response suggested that the clutch be bled. HUH? DIDN'T KNOW YOU COULD DO THAT. HOW?

Funny.....ya the clutch could be bled. I don't know exactly how. What I was asking is has that new clutch ever worked right? WELL? HAS IT?

Did you get the flywheel turned before you put the new clutch on. If not it could be warped and the high spots are grabbin and then it lets go when it gets to the low spots. Mine was extremely warped and it did somethin similar to what your describing. If it was turned, your guess is as good as mine.
