In May, I'll be heading down to Tucson for my nieces wedding. Trying to find the best/shortest route. From Mapquest, it says to take I-25 South to 10 West. Also some other little turns. Anybody have any recommendadtions that might shave some miles/time? Thanks. BTW, lists the trip from my house to my brothers at 865 miles.

    TIA for any help.

My in-laws live in Tuscon. I've never done the drive, but wife has, and my father-in-law does it every year. I'll ask them and let you know.

The quickest way would probably be I-25 to I-40, I-40 to Flagstaff, I-17 to I-10 (Phoenix), and I-10 to Tucson.

Should take about 14-15 hours at normal highway speeds.

Going through Pheonix is shorter/faster? Looks like that route may be about 100 miles longer.

John, let me know what you find out.
