Anyone else going? We're going to be there.
I'm thinking about going still But I really have way to much stuff to do around the house and on the rig tomorrow. I have to get most of it done tomorrow if I want to swing by the June Bug show sunday.
I'm just north of the race (10 miles) if anyone going needs anything.
I went last year & had a great time. Take water and wear good shoes. You need to walk aways to get there. Also, take some chairs & sunscreen as well.
You might want to get on Co4x4.org as well. There were 7 or so guys from there that competed last year. I remember Terry Howe competing, as well as a few others. Also had a Rancho factory rig there.
Anyways, have a great time.
Yep the sunscreen, water, and chairs were great items to have.
They ran out of water for sale, had to go into town and buy more, and sold out of that, too. I was grateful that we brought our own.
It was a really cool event. I think after watching that, the regular rock crawling comps would be boring. It reminded me of motocross for buggies.
Yeah, I know I loved it last year. Kinda like crossing rock crawling w/ drag racing. I'd like to see something like that down here. Maybe someday.
I think UROC will be in Phoenix. They are supposed to be adding an event called rock-cross or something that is similar to what XRRA does. Might want to check that out.
Uroc won't be back for a bit. They were here a few weeks ago. Was a good experience. They're still growing but was much, much better than the first event here.
