    what year is it from? Im pretty sure chevy changed thier vin ID decoding in 1980 so depending on what year it is you will get different answers. assuming that is the VIN number

    1985 1/2 ton Chevy Blazer with 6.2 L diesel and hydraulic brakes and it was built in Flint ,MI

    It's also in the owners manual...

    My old truck actually came with two (owners manuals, not VIN's), so I sold one with it, and kept the second. I think the 5th character being K actually represents 350/TBI, which would mean the year character is different also. I could be wrong too, but I remember a guy asking me once what the 5th character was when ordering parts for my engine, and he said "ok, 350 tbi" after I said "K".

    I think it's an '83 ...?? It is a diesel..so, it's only a 1/2 ton huh?/ damn!! hopping to maybe get lucky....
