I have a set of coilover shocks on the front of my 69. I was curious if these were a factory option or someone added it on. I assume it is the ladder b/c he had a plow on it at one time. Any info would help.
    Thanks
    Chris

My guess is that they are custom. Never heard anything like that being stock from GM. Especially back in 69......

Don't know about the trucks, but as early as '66 showed some passenger cars having a high-performance "helper" shock (aka shock with a coil spring) available.
