OK, about 2 months ago I put an aftermarket coil in my k5 (accell) with new plugs and wires etc. when I was putting the coil in one of the bolts was missing.

about 2 weeks later the side that was bolted down broke, and burned up my new coil.

I am wondering where I can be a new one of these??? the parts stores around here seem to be clueless when I ask them about it, and considering the one side broke when only one bolt was in it I don't know what would stop there other side from doing the same.

is it HEI? cus then you can buy a rebuild kit. if it isnt HEI i would recommend it if $ allows. i loved mine when i had a motor in my truck (other than in the cab) just a sugestion....

yea, the braket that holds the coil broke... I was just gonna weld it back but somebody threw the peice away before I could fix it.

this is TBI so I don't think HEI applies.
