I have been thinking of going to a coil suspension.Anyone out there who has done this,How did you do it and what parts.I was thinking of using the old 2wd truck parts and swapping the axle under the arm for the rear. For the front using ford parts with links.Maybe use airbags instead of the coils? Thanks Brady

See if you can find any archives from I think 4x4 Power. I'm pretty sure it was that magazine that featured a first gen. Jimmy a couple years ago with coil springs, etc. It was blue with a bikini top and the suspension system was really long travel and completely cool.

I saved this Mag just because of his rig.He used the rear suspension off an older 2wd Chevy truck. This is what I am thinking of doing and maybe use an airbag inplace of the coil or with the coil.Just looking for someone who has done this before with some advice or complaints about it.Brady
