So, i'm starting to catalogue the wines/beers i drink so i know what i like and don't like as my list of beers expands. figured i'd just post up my catalogue here so maybe it'll benefit other people (plus, if i'm away from home, i'm only a few clicks away from my reviews! :wink1:) i'm trying to buy things i've never bought before, so it might take a while before i get back to the standards like the black butte porter or things like this. :)

so, first up is the Blue Moon Brewing Company Belgian White. Picked this one up because i figured something light would go nice with the german chocolate cake my wife is going to make tonite for some company. I actually haven't tried it yet - so i'll post up later this evening with a review. so, here's a shot of it. :)

Its a good beer. You should also try Dark side of the moon (1/2 guinness 1/2 blue moon). The blue moon floats on top.

if you are ever in Kohler,Wisconsin area try "Honeyweis"(sp) dont know the exact brand or spelling but I tried it when I was up there on business and it was pretty good.I was told that it was made at a local brewery up there.

Blue Moon brewing Co.????? Blue Moon is nothing more than unfiltered corperate Coors with a bunch of crap floating around in it. Read the label.

Try some good North Coast brews.

Try some Mendicino Brewing Co beer. Or anything Alaskan brewing CO.

For wine....I highly recomend Chateau St Michelle from the Columbia river valley

Obviously You have not acquired the finner taste in life. Guinness is quite possible the finniest "mass" produced ale in the world.....

well, i like guiness too, but it's a bit too heavy. i liked the blue moon, actually. the wheat beer was nice - i can't remember if i've had wheat beer before. it's got a real smoothe finish, and the wheat gives it a different taste from the norm. not hoppy at all.

i don't know. i really like stouts and porters, but guiness really takes the prize for being the heaviest beer i've ever had.

Let's put it this way Wes Sam Adams does not compare to Guinness. I will say though if you have not acquired a taste for heavy ale's then You may not be able to gag it down. Although once You get a taste for it there really is nothing better. Oh and drink it in a pint glass like it was ment to be drank.
BTW Sam Adams is pretty much sh!t beer.................

Or Anderson Valley Brewing Co., Boont Amber Ale is my all time favorite, but I've tried ALL their offerings, and they all scream.
