Hi all im kinda new to the forums and a friend and I are going to try to do MSV/Coney this saturday. Were planning on hitting it early as this is the first time my friend and I have done Coney not to mention it is pry the hardest weve attempted, the hardest weve done to this point is antero/baldwin creek. Although I did help a friend down old tincup route years ago so I've stacked rocks, are there any other pointers or anyone who wants to go along is welcome

Saturday I've got a family reunion way out in Sterling, or would be up for a trail run.

Never done MSV or Coney, so I can't give you any specific pointers on the trail.

In general, I say make sure you have at least one good recovery strap. I've used one or two every trip this year, at least on the harder trails. I think one incidence even required 3 straps. :wink1:

That's your first clue that Scott, Kevin, and Nick are not normal.

But Dad I just have to try to get through it!

I hadn't noticed before who is that flapping his arms over there to the left of Kevin? Is that John "the Spotter"? Hmm must be, bow to "The Spotter" Wasn't perhaps one of Scotts more sane ventures into the unknown, but it sure was fun trying to get out. Thank goodness for "Digger" Jim ;) ! How about just "Swampie" for Scott :haha: !

Glad you guys had fun. As a rule, never go anywhere without a snap strap. You never know when you're gonna need it!!
