Alright so vote for the one you like. I'll add a "Write-in name". If you vote for that post your idea below.

X2 - Includes all fullsizes and doesn't sound like a Jeep club.

I don't like "Extreme". It's an overused term. Hell, everything is "extreme" these days. It's like the 2006 version of those stupid "Bad Boy" shirts from the 80s and "No Fear" from the 90s.

I was thinking maybe Colorado Fullsizers or something similar, and we could have a Front Range chapter, West slope, etc. I think it's going to be really difficult to have one big statewide thing, because I personally don't look forward to driving a million miles for a meeting. I'd rather see local chapters come up with their own runs, suggested trails, etc and then submit for a state calendar or something.

That's just me. And Officer Tedesco, this is a TRUCK club. Perhaps you should save your input for ATV.com or perhaps civilrightsoppressors.com.:D

Why don't we just keep being the "Colorado Crew" and the hell with the club crap! Then if you front rangers want a club more power to you!

Hmmm, sounds like someone is mad that they aren't getting their name chosen. I guess John can go form his own club so it can have the name he wants.:tongue1:

I don't think the idea here is to have a bunch of meetings. Our meetings will be on the trail. Maybe we can do it like I was thinking with the China Wall trail, the first trail run could be for planning the year's trail runs. Then we could have one get together at the end for a M&G or something.

Hell, I don't know. All of sudden everyone seems to be souring on the idea. :dunno:

Hey now, cmon! I'm not mad, or anything like that. Like I said, whatever our group decides to call it, I'm in. I merely noted my personal choice, and reasons for it. I like the idea of meeting on the trail and a once yearly M&G.

You guys are making me seem like some kind of party pooper!:(

Donkey Punchers is still the best one, either way....:D

Naw, I would never think you're a party pooper. Maybe a cry baby, but not a party pooper! :haha: :haha:

I think we will definetly need to have a 'front range' and 'western slope' parts of the club. It would be a nightmare to have regular meetings for state wide. But a once or twice a year state wide meet would be cool.

I went with Extreme Fullsize. I don't really need the "crawlers". :p:

And while "Extreme" is way overused, I think we have the right to use it. We aren't just Full Size. We're heavier, bigger and modded out with V8's. Much more full size than these sad IFS excuses for full size trucks being built today.

Ok Fred and John. Compare and see what you think looks better. These are crude and Scott's graphics package will make it much better. I still like Extreme with an E.

I've decided that "Size Matters 4x4" is my vote. HOWEVER, I'd also buy in on plain ol' Colorado Fullsizers too.

No matter what we choose, I'll be asking Scott to make me a Size Matters sticker:D

ok guys I was hoping this was not going to happen but I think it has.
It looks like we will never agree on a name that makes every one happy.

And then being a state wide club we will never get everyone together at one time. I'm kinda leaning on just going back to the Colorado crew and lets post hey lets run this trail and if you can make it great if not maybe next time.

As for the club I think it would still be fun but you would almost need a western slope and a metro area chapters to make this work. Am I wrong with all this? It is nice to see more and more people in Colorado joining CK5 and want to wheel with each other. maybe we should keep it at that so no one get there feelings hurt.

Then if someone from the metro area decides to start a club on there own its open for who ever they want to join and vice versa for western area guys.

Sorry for the long point less post I guess my opinion is lets take it slow and go back to the Colorado crew and just wheel and meet as many other k5 brother's and have a great time
But I could be wrong on all this. I just dont want it to be a pissing match

I didn't see it as a controversial issue. Hell, we haven't even talked about for more than a few days. I was under the impression this was in the R&D phase. :dunno:

I really am not a stickler about these kinds of things, whatever is decided I will roll with it. I'd still like to have a group logo I could put on my truck that shows some unity with my brothers. :saweet:

My feelings exactly. A loose knit group of friends to wheel with is alot more fun than the rigidity of a club. I'm thinking Scott will make a banner to declare my big blue thing.

I'm off at 10:30 to pick up another one out by DIA. The DQ will be getting some off-road needle & seats and alloy axles up front before China Wall. That'll be my goal.

As far as admiration, I do look hot in the mirror. :D
