This is the 3:30 am weather report, we have had another 1/2 inch of snow with more predicted through Sunday! I have heard that in the area at what would be the top of OCG there is as much as 5" of new snow! PERHAPS IT WOULD BE PRUDENT to postpone this adventure until a later date! I hardly see the sence of tearing up my truck or anyone elses on snow and ice covered rocks.
If someone absolutely HAS to wheel this weekend there are a lot of FSR's around here that would be less treacherous! Just remember you're faced with less than desireable road conditions getting to this area plus many of the same conditions as OCG! Let's hear your ideas.
I might suggest we plan on April 8th!

I would concur with the April 8th idea. I got about 4 inches now and still snowing. It would be less than adequate traction conditions up there. Besides my wife would think I am not quite so stupid if we postpone.

So how old will Mr. k5 be????? Hmmm may have to think of something good for his b-day.

So I will start the bowing out and officially take over the the Mr. No Go moniker.

April 8 it is for me anyway. See ya all there. Maybe Tedesco can swing the day off with this ample warning.:wink1:

Okay, Nick and I are going to hit up Slaughter House Gulch Saturday.

We are meeting at the Loaf n' Jug at 10AM. The one next to the big white water tank.

Wow. I never realized I have been wheeling with such hard core, bad ass dudes that were afraid of a little precipitation.

Time to buy stock in tampons!

I'll work in getting the 8th off.
