    Making it official.

Old Chinaman's Gulch (OCG) for my birthday run.

Meet @ Gunsmoke Truck Stop in Johnson Village 9:00AM, Saturday April 8th. Map below.

This is a really fun challenging trail, for those of you that haven't done it yet.

Aftwards we'll plan on getting some vittles at the Coyote Cantina in Johnson Village. Perhaps discuss some future trail runs.

Here's some pics from last year's trip:

Look, 3 people giving me directions. Which way to I go?

ktedesco has the most chopped, bobbed, and narrowed rig I've seen on the trail.

For everyone that shows up, I'll have your stickers. As long as you let me know you're interested, that is.

Ay, I will need a lift or have to leave my car at the truck stop. I doubt the truck will be alive by then.

I want my chrome sticker too.:woot: Cause I am special.

I am going to try and make it. Most of my tax returns showed up today so I have a little money for now. If I show up though it will be my Birthday run too. My Bday is the 10th. I guess it will be my birthday present to myself. I gotta try the diesel out threw some hills with the K5 in tow sometime right. :D

What the heck are we supposed to bring Scott for a present. I got some greasy old cinder blocks that make good jackstands. :D Are we planning a "roast"? :haha:

That'd be great if both of you guys can make it, 2 new guys for the Colorado Crew.

Harley, I think you'd enjoy this trail. It's not as hard as some of the AZ stuff I've seen you doing, but it'll give you a good taste.

Zak - it is Zak right? - you can always hitch a ride with someone. It would be great to meet finally. And thank you in person for your service.:thumb: :usaflag:

That's what I keep telling people that say their rig isn't ready. The cool thing about K5s is that they seat 4 people, possibly even 5.

And I can't believe you gave James an opening to turn this into another homoghay thread.

The new map service provided by Microsoft is really cool.

I marked trailhead parking area, OCG, Carnage Canyon, and the Gunsmoke. Click on the map and you can go to the map page I created and zoom and scroll to see where you are going.

I'm going to try and make a map that has all the Colorado trails on it. Now that would be cool!

I would like to walk Carnage Canyon that day too if anyone is willing to take the time and check it out. I want to see how bad it is and see what I need to do to be setup to run Carnage in the future.

I asked my step-dad who's coming to visit if he'd want to go...got a big "no". He'd rather go to Estes Park and other things. Don't really have a choice as he's only here for 3 days. Total crap.
