I was just wonder what the law is For an 81. Like what they look for, they see if you have a cat or the air pump, or any of the exhaust tube crap. I am going to move up to denver in like january. I am putting a 400 in the blazer. but it has a 350 in it. just wanted to know if i have to put all the crap back on there?\

    Thanks,
    charley

Welcome to the wonderful world of emissions in Colorado. All the emissions that are hung off the 350 will need to be installed and in working order on your 400sb. My only piece of advice is to tell whoever does the emissions that the engine is stock. Maybe not stock for a Blazer but it was stock for something. I believe that 81 and older cars, trucks, van.... can go to anyplace that does emissions. Skipping Envirotest would be a godsend. Welcome to Colorado!
