I'm heading up to ouray co on the 4th and I plan to take (the blazer of course) and the dirt bikes. I am curious if the forest service will even allow them.If you know anything please let me know. Thanks

I believe it's only Pike Nat. Forest that is closed as this time, including the counties of Jeffco,Dougles & Park but they may close more in the future.

All Forests in the Ouray area are open. Also you need to have off highway vehicle registration on all dirtbikes or ATV's in forest service, BLM, and state park property. Go to www.parks.state.co.us and click on publications. You will find a publication on non-resident permit. That will have an application. It is $15.25 for each vehicle. You can also call the main office at 303-791-1920. You can get maps of the trails in the area at the jeep rental place in ouray and other businesses.

also all the bikes or ATV's must have a spark arrestor.

Have a good time. Hope this helps.
