Never been on that trail but I pulled it up on a database and had a look see, I don't think I'll have any problems. I haven't been here long enough to heavily modify my truck but it looks fairly easy.

Count me in, just need a meeting time & place.

If I can get my fuel leak fixed by Sat, there's a real outside (& I do mean far left field) chance I might have my K5 ready.

It's not a bad trail. There are a few obstacles that challenge even a built rig, but my wife pulled it off in her Pathfinder. Every good obstacle has a moderate to easy bypass. We'll figure out a time and place to meet early next week. Where would you be coming from? Here are a couple of pics from the trail:

Sounds good. As usual I will be coming from the south and will meet you at the trail head. About 9:45-10:00?

Jiminy, you're coming from up North, correct?

    I-25 south
    I-70 west
    C-470 south
285 south all the way to Jefferson

If you want, we could meet on 285 just after you get off 470, there is a long open shoulder that's a good spot to meet. Lemme know :D

Well, my motor is in bad shape. Good news is it should be fixed by Thursday. Crankshaft shot, bearings done, cam bearings not looking real good. Decided to have the whole damn thing boiled and rebuilt. Good news: A good motor when it's done. Bad news: Not cheap!

I should have paid more attention in auto shop...

So the trail starts off 285? I thought it was off 24. Or will it work from either side?

The trail starts on CR 77 about 7?miles north of 24. John, even if your truck isn't ready, I hope you still come down. Kelly and I are bringing the ATV and the K5.

Mark, If I break and can't drive it out again, I am shooting it full of holes and setting it on fire! :D

That sounds good. Let me what time for the shoulder. Just picked up 33's tonight so at least I'll be able to ditch the 31's beforehand.
