I’m moving to the Denver area later this summer and need to get the low down on the local smog laws. I have a 74’ ¾ ton that is smog exempt here in California; it has no smog equipment on it, Headers w/ no cats. Got a feeling I’ll have problems getting it to pass smog if I bring it with me. Do they cut you any slack w/ older vehicles?

You just have to do the tail pipe test, leave your plates on from CA. when you get here, gives you plenty of time to get it to pass, if it doesn`t the 1st time.
if you don`t have plates, they will give you a temp.
If it doesn`t pass the 1st time, then change your plugs, clean the carb out with a carb cleaner, and run the prenium gas.
