Hey Colorado Crew, looks like I'll be moving this month, found a new cheaper place here in Wheat Ridge. This means I'll be doing the motor in the Punisher next weekend, and moving the next two. How do you guys feel about planning for our run the 1st weekend of February? Slaughterhouse? China Wall? I heard Lefthand Canyon is a disaster area, so I'm not too interested in going there. Whaddaya think?

Wellll, since we are talking about pushing it back, the second weekend in February would work much better for me. Basically the first weekend would be a "no go" for me.

We're planning on going to Mom and Dad's for fred2mihi's birthday on the second weekend of February, the 11th/12th. So China Wall would work good. Plus it would be a little closer for 3 on the tree.

Hey John, I was planning to come up next Saturday. What's the plan, where are we going? Plus I could bring the skull with me Saturday.

The only days that work for me are Wed, Thur, and Friday. Maybe a close run like China Wall very early on a Sat.

Either weekend in Feb I should be able to make it. I probably would not have made it to the 28th run, so this is good for me :thumb:

    Hey Mr. Disco,

I make my own schedule, if you want to do a Wed/Thur/Fri and we can't seem to get one planned on those days.

Those hubs are rigged, when you least expect it one side will refuse to engage. Leaving you in the boonies with a sledge and your boots.

Ahhhhhhhhhh, I just thought up another name for you. John Henry. :D

So maybe a China Wall early start on Saturday the 11th of February would work? I know John likes to hit the trail early, and I can get up and going early once a year.

    What do you think, John?

Might be able to finally make one of these china wall trips, but I'd definetly need some el-cheapo tires first.

Anybody know of some for a 6-lug?

    Well duh. :doah:

But borrowed tires would probably come on wheels. Plus, there aren't really any decent tires in 16", which is my rim size. So I'llend up needing wheels eventually too.

Guess I forgot to mention that part. :p:

Well, I'm back on line after nearly $200 and a lot of frustration maybe the problem is fixed. If we don't have to let Scott play in that mud hole at the end of first stop I would bet we could start at 8 o'clock and be finished before noon. I for one look forward to meeting the new crewmen as well as seeing the rest of the group.

Morning Mike, Scott and I could meet you in Johnson Village and show you how to get to the trail head. I'm about 45 minutes away, here at BV. Depending on Monarch Pass, we are about an hour from Gunni.
