I am converting from R12 to R134. Do I have to change the oil in the compressor? If so, how do I change it? And what kind of oil should I put in there? Thanks.

Yes, the compressor oil needs to be changed. The vehicle has to be taken to a shop or dealer that does a/c work. They will have to "evacuate" the system and flush out the oil. They will install the proper oil before charging it with the 134a.
