    Could be the camera software also....

    If everything on the 'puter works good after a clean install it probably is the cam....

    Do you have another of the camera media? Did you try that stick/floppy?

    I think you need to change the pinion angle to.. er, wait, wrong hardware..... HA

    Also, make sure you've uninstalled stuff before re-installing, all the way down to renaming the program folder (rename instead of delete so you can roll back some steps if needed). Sometimes you can re-install a million times, and there's still a bad dll in the software's working directory that gives the program misinformation and leads to a crash...

    Did you actually do a clean windows install or a re-install over an existing setup? Reinstalling only helps sometimes...

    I would first run Windows Update, and select all critical's, and any driver's. Then uninstall and reinstall the software. Then if you still have problems, format and reinstall everything on the box. Sounds like you were looking to do some winter cleaning anyway...!

    Oh yeah, and you might also want to try the camera on a different computer to make sure it is or isn't functioning correctly!

    I know who I'm comeing to with computer problems!

    newyorker;
    The above sounds like a problem I'm dealing with. The computer caught a bug, erased "links" (?), so it doesn't know how to find the programs. (?) - Anyway, it won't run my G.M. STC tranning C.D.s (the real resson I got a comp in the first place). I've un0installed and reinstalled the GM STC program serval times, with no help.

    Don't reply if I'm swipeing the thread, I'll make my own post if I can't figure it out.
    But It kinda sounds like the same problem, just a different sorce.
