Okay, here's the situation. Started to play NASCAR Racing 2003 today. Graphics went down the crapola. First it was stuff blinking, cars running around looking like blobs; then it progressed into the car graphics looking like ripped paper so bad I couldn't tell what car it was. Was running Direct3D along with ATI Radeon 9250 video card. Ended up switching over to OpenGL and no problems; but I wanted the other setup back since the graphics are better. Graphics continued down the path of doom as the track started looking like checkerboard. Played around with the settings, trashed a set of video card drivers that I downloaded last week and downloaded a different set. The plummeting to Earth of the graphics continued. So I decided I might as well do an uninstall, install. First, I moved folders that I have game modifications (paint jobs, different cars and such) so they wouldn't get vaporized. Do the install and nothing. Attempt again and now the game is running, BUT.................................. When I go into different sections, animations stop when I move the mouse. Went into another section, and there's animations that appear as they should from a download a few days ago, but not like they should when the game is freshly installed. I'm lost now. I don't know where to go from here and I'm in real need of help. Just for information, another graphics intense game that I play, I opened it for a quick check and didn't see anything amiss. Should I uninstall the game and the video card software, then do an install on everything?
