Hey,

bought another K5 because I am WAY too addicted. Mud freak had it up for sale, and I just shipped him a money order.

    http://www.vtengineering.com/ck5/89K5.jpg

I gotta get it shipped from NY (sorry to solo watch... LOL) I don't have the balls that Rene's got... [IMG]

anyway this thing is NOT going to be an off road rig. it's gonna get some nitro's and BFG's as soon as I get it, and it will be a on-road vehicle... I'm use it to tow my other K5 around to all the get togethers... LOL

have some new pics I didn't realize he had emailed me when I posted this!!

Aw c'mon Jeff, whats life without a little adventure now and then?

I guess this will also solve your loud exhaust problem the most expensive way possible huh?[IMG] Not only that but your wife doesn't like K5's and now you have two? That, my friend, takes balls...

    Nice K5 BTW...

Re: congrats on new family member...

actually I didn't solve the exhaust sound problem yet... I'm gonna keep BOTH, yea that's right, both blazers!!

this only has 46,000 orig. miles on it, and that is only 3,000 more then my Grand Prix. I am going to sell my GTP, and this thing is going to be my travel vehicle for family. we will use this or on-road, and the other one will be our run around / off-road toy.

it is going to be getting nitro wheels with BFT at's, new seats front and back with LCD's in the head rests... I'll take the $3500 sound system I got in my car out and put into it, and I'll be set!! when the engine goes in either K5 then this thing will get a 383 stroker!

how did I solve the wife - blazer hater problem??? she 'think's she's getting the new one! it is going to stay garged except for travel though!

Looks like you got a good one. What size BFG's are you going to put on it?

As to tune the on road performance, new bushings everywhere, new shocks, and a front end allignment to start.

the other thing I was considering, this thing has a 2" lift and I was thinking of putting 4 1/2" bump stops on it to 'limit' the travel...

it'll be getting ssv's or procomp 9000's all the way around, and probably a new steering stabalizer. didn't think about the new bushing thing but that would be a good idea.

I'll probably put greasable bushings on it with ORD front shackles with the rear shackle flip. if I do that I'll wanna find stock springs (new) that have the teflon pads etc. I don't want much lift because I don't want the rougher springs on it, bit I'd bet 2" springs wouldn't be too bad so I'll have to wait and see.

rather then doing the disconnects on the swaybar I'll probably get a new performance swaybar with bushings.
