    Hi,
I have 2 questions I hope someone can answer. I went to the bone yard and got a used tilt wheel steering column for my 85 K5 with the auto tranny. I removed the old one by removing the bole bolt where the upper and lower shaft join approx 1 1/2 feet away from the gear box. The old one came out fairly easy but I can't get the replacement one to even start to slip inside the lower shaft so I can put the bolt back in. My other question is how do I go about replacing the dimmer/wiper/cruise control lever. My old one with the extra floppy tilt wheel has a good switch, but the one I just got looks like the single wire that goes from the switch to inside the steering column burned off. Didn't notice that till I got it home. Would appreciate any help I can get.....Thanks,
    Pat.
