On a 89 blazer with the 6.2 is there a sensor or relay inline with the glow plug controller. Also how can i test to see if the glow plug controller is good or bad?

    Thank you

I THINK the temp sensor is on the driver's side head. It' too cold and dark to check right now. I do know the thermo switch for the high idle & HPCA is on the passengers side head, towards the back. What is your controller doing or not doing? When I got my '89 I had to replace the controller first thing, it was flakey, buzzing and cycling at odd times. DON'T BUY AFTERMARKET GP CONTROLLERS, USE ONLY AC DELCO! I'm not big on OE stuff, but I believe it when it comes to Glow Plug stuff.

Real trucks don't have spark plugs!
