Anyone know how to convert either .wav, midi or .wma file to .cda or a format that an everyday CD player will play?

I have been checking on google and most software ya have to pay for. THis is a one time thing so I hate to pay... Downloaded one program off download.com because it said it would do this, but it did not include .cda....

    Anyone?

wav files can be easily burned with any cd burning program. A wav file is a .cda file, or to be more precise, both are PCM audio files.

there are many different quality levels but again, the burning software will tak care of that for you.

Try Roxio EZ CD Creator or NERO Burning ROM.

    Good Luck.

I use Nero Burning ROM that was bundled with my TDK VeloCD.
You could also try download.com and look for "Active WMA Studio". Converts between many different formats. Free for 15 days after install; gather all your files to be converted and do them right after install, which is what I did.
