    im glad you posted here this is the main forum i look at, Thx ;]]]]]

    LOL they said that those guys in the 4 runners, "Developed a way to put the bead back on the tire" then they show the guys spraying Starting fluid in the tire and lighting it... BS they developed it, its been around for YEARS.........

    i have seen it before... but didnt like the part on the m998s (hmmwvs) they made it sound like marines only use them, and that they all have 6.5ltrs.. just not all correct info...

    I caught a few minutes of it. I have it on tape also. They redubed the naration?!?!?! The preveious narator was not so monotone but he was odd in a different sort of way. Sort of a Sports anouncer voice.

    Was I hearing things last night or did they say they air the tires down to 2 PSI??? By the way I loved the lighter fluid trick.

    We've used either to set the bead on tires for the farm. Be very careful doing it though.

    that same show was on about 5 years ago as well.

    Yeah it works but it's MAJOR dangerous. You use either (starting fluid) and ONE loop around the bead.
    You don't need to lay it on the ground either. I did it with the wheel still on my truck when I ripped out a valve stem at tellico. I went from Flat tire to rolling in 7 minutes.
