I did the R-12 to R-134a air conditioning conversion to my 72 JIMMY, and she's blowing cold. I've done two others with the $30.00 BIG-K kit, but this was the oldest truck, and it's working fine. It's easy with no disassembly, and the R-134a is cheap and available when you need a recharge.

So you just picked up this kit a K-Mart? I need to do my 70, but have been putting it off because of how much they want to convert it. Right now my AC works just as good as the vent. LOL

    See Ya,
    Keith

I have seen the conversion kits in other stores, and also in JC Whitney's catalog. K-Mart had the best sale price. This conversion kit is better then the old ones, that required replacing the O-ring.
