I am working on the coolest house in history!!!! Its focking MASSIVE! I dont know where to begin...

Well lets start with location... Its on top of Avon mountain, here in ct... Prime location, and this is at the top, with a perfect view of the valley... All the homes on this road are 2+ mil:eek1:

Ok actual details on the house.

There are 3 levels underground. The blasted the top of the mountain of, poured the concrete and recovered half of it.

In these 3 levels there is a:
Panic room (walls concrete, 5 ft thick) double blast doors. 4,500 sq ft.
A theatre which is an actual movie theatre style theatre, 13,000 sg ft
A tunnel dug through the mountain big enough to fit a car as an escape route. It opens up to an inconspicuous location on the road (wtf, batman and the batcave?:eek1:)
A organ room which is 9,000 feet. He has an enournous organ which there is only 2 of in the world... well this room is designed specificly for the organ...
In these levels is another 3,500 feet of hallways/ and other romms etc...

The upstairs hasnt really begun construction yet but they have to use steel like in commercial construction because the place is so big... Were talking 60,000+ feet all said and done:eek1:

Now for the other crazy facts...

There are MANY high resolution cameras on the job watching everything. In the job trailler ther are plasma screens up with a direct link so the super can watch everything. The cameras can be rotated/ zoomed with extreme clarity...The owner can see all from his own computer... Also there is a direct link of video feed to the architechts so the can maintain visuals on the job (they are in dc:crazy:)

I have never expierienced anything like this. It the most amazing thing I could ever imagine... I mean come on, its a FOCKING HOUSE:eek1: This has got to be one of the largest houses in history... absolutley nuts. Got everything anyone could ever want time a million, every extravagance, everything a little boy dreams his ultimate fortuss would be... Im in awe:crazy::D

Its always the people that have "all" the money that are the kookiest. If you look at all the biggest houses that have been build by millionaires. And some of the weird or strange things build into the house. Makes you think they all had a screw loose somewhere, in my opinion.

    True.:haha:

The only example I can think of off the top of my head is Sara Winchester. Look at all the money she had and the goofy house she build. [IMG]

    Someone's lost their marbles. :screwy:

Even if I ever won the lottery, I'd never build a house in the extremes like that.

That's friggin awesome. That's how I'd build it if I had that much money. Except I'd make the panic room an actual hardened complex, with a few panic rooms inside.

I think I'd even store some hard core vehicles or maybe RV's in the tunnel, accessible from the panic room, so if you had to, you could completely bail and if the world was chaos, you could stilll get around somewhat.
