cooling system whoa's...

    first a heater hose now the radiator... anyways.. is $144 a decent price for a new 3core? with tranny cooler? autozone prices.... that and im throughing new hoses all the way across the board.. been driving it 2 weeks, and 3 problems so far... Fixing the abuse of previous owners is so much fun... lol

    Finally done after 8 months.. Not really.. IM never going to be done. Stroker motor is next

    <font color=blue>Yes, that's a good price. If you are not sure, call a local radiator shop and price it. You could probably get a re-cored one cheaper, but there probably wouldn't be a warranty. - Steve</font color=blue>

    That sounds like a good price. The best I could do around Atlanta was about $200 and that was a while back.

    Ya they wanted 250 for a new 4core here in Calif. so that sounds good as long as it is rodded out and presure tested....

    I guess I got lucky, I paid $165 for a brand new (Modine) 4-core radiator with AT hookups here in OKC at a radiator shop (Prices). I was referred there after pricing several stores and the manager at O'Reillys said he would be the best bet. May as well get a new cap while your at it.

    I would like the name and phone # of that shop that you got a 4-core for $165. At that price I could pay for shipping and still be ahead. What year was that radiator for? I have a 73 with a 91 front clip.
