Have 2 questions on corp axles... What was the first year the Corp 14 bolt was available? Second is on the 10 bolt... what typically breaks on them? Gears? axles? Carrier? Thanks for the input

The 14FF started in 73 up to 80 as standard equipment. 81 on up were options. The 14SF was standard in 81 on up. Both are still used widely today. The 10B I have seen more axles break than gears, or carriers, etc. The weak point is the inner shafts at the taper where they go into the carrier/spider gears. Give ORD a try on the 10B as Stephen would know a lot more about this axle.
