Could it be my tranny\'s failing?

I have a TH350 and this past week every morning on my way to work when I stop at a light, then go again i put my foot on the gas and the engine revs up like im in neutral and all the sudden catches and throws the truck forward, when ive been in Drive the whole time. Does this mean it could be my tranny is going bad or something w/ my torque converter? /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

It could be getting tired, first thing is to drop the pan and see what the fluid looks like. Is it a really dark red? Does it smell burnt? Check the magnet in the pan for metal shavings.

check the fluid level also. low fluid causes that type of symtom. If low, drop the pan, change the filter and refill.
