My 76/forums/images/graemlins/truck.gifBit the dust on the trail last week. I have exausted what I know and am looking for some solution to my problem. Here is what happened:

I was above the snowline on a logging road and in the process of turning aroud, I stalled the motor. When I tried to start it again, everything was dead, even my voltometer was reading zero. I thought a batery cable came loose. Not the case, I bridged the battery and got a nice arc. Next I direct wired my distributor to the batery and bridged the cyliniod. This confirmed that the batery had juice because the starter spooled right up. It didn't engage though. Later that night before the flatbed came, I couldn't even bump start it.

    what am I missing?
