Couldn\'t figure out what people were looking at...

Yesterday I was changing tires on my mom's friend's Caravan and Grand Am, and all the cars that drove past the house drove by slow and people seemed to be "looking".

Couldn't figure out why till I thought about it...

Maybe the variety of colors... red, yellow, black, white, orange, blue, green, maroon... or the vehicles... two 4x4's on 40" tall tires, two Corvettes (one my friend's, on my mom's boyfriend's).

I still worry about upsetting the neighbors sometimes.

Thats the '80 GMC (blue/white) and the Truck/Blazer on the street. The little crew cab, suburban, and orange Blazer in the driveway, my mom's friend's caravan and my mom's boyfriend's Firebird also in the driveway.

I still need to come up with a more creative name for the "truck blazer".

Oh, and I almost forgot... a bare 24' trailer skeleton frame in the yard on the lawn. Another attraction for the passer-by.

And I still have that darn '88 Ford Escort sitting in front of the house. I better sell it and get some $$ before it turns into the next "obstacle" at Mud Days in May.

Dude, I'm quite unhappy at you... You have like a zillion crew cabs and I can't even find ONE that's not a 94 Ford with custom paint and interior /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I'm not quite up to a zillion yet... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

You still looking for a crew cab or just a regular cab truck? I know a guy here selling a '76 Chevy regular cab 3/4 ton 4x4, SB400, automatic, 36" tires, etc...

Re: Couldn\'t figure out what people were looking at...

I'd prefer a crew cab, but I'm also looking at regular cabs and extended cab furds... if it's a good price and could make it to Cheyenne alright, I'd love to have a reason to go to Washington /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crewcab.gif

He just called me the other day and offered it to me for some sort of trade. He wants like an older car (Camaro, Chevelle, Mustang, etc...) or something else he can fix up and re-sell.

Re: Couldn\'t figure out what people were looking at...

You should see some of the older people drive by. They idle through the street as if it were some little corridor that required slow speeds to make it through without rubbing.

It's not that bad, theres plenty of room, but they have that "cautious" look on their face.

Amazingly, I think everything of mine actually starts, runs and moves under it's own power (the ones in the picture at my house). With the exception of that Escort I'm trying to sell (it has a knocking motor). My mom's boyfriend's Firebird isn't currently running either.

All my non-runners are filling up a field north of here. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Re: Couldn\'t figure out what people were looking at...

oh well... It's gonna take a lot to get my eyes off this 94 F-350 crew cab that's been for sale for darn near a year now... The custom paint, nice interior... I think it's a diesel but can't confirm that... I want it really bad, but I'm afraid to ask how much, even though it's been up for sale forever... it's not been in the same spot either, so I assume it starts and moves... /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
