    It was about 1230 and this lighting storm had just started so I went outside and took a couple of pics. I went inside when Barb asked me what the hell I was doing standing outside in the rain in the middle of a t-storm.:shock:

    Wow... Sometimes professional photographers will take hundreds of shots trying to catch a bolt of lightening.

    Good job there.

    This has been the 3rd summer that i have been in Bako and all 3 summers I have been able to watch these awesome storms at night. The first summer I was here the lightning was so bright and so close that the street lights turned off because of how bright the sky was. :eek1:

    man those are cool. i LOVE thunder storms. my cousin tried with a 35mm afew years ago in OK.he has no pics. :haha:

    I snagged a pic of some lightening while on our honeymoon. Got lucky I guess, I was using one of those $8 110 camera's (not even sure you can still buy film for those anymore...)

    It took me three pic's to get a lightening pic.

    Those are very cool pic's BTW!!! :bow: :bow:

    I am useing this camera.

    The Canon PowerShot S400.


    I turned the flash off and stood there with the button pushed part of the way down for a few minutes untill i saw lightning and snapped away. :D
