It's only a two bedroom but I did get an acre with it for $23,000. Plenty of room to put a shop in the back later on. Back where I lived in California I would have paid probably $200,000 more.

I have a 6x8 concrete storm cellar out side the side door so I'm covered on the tornado part. I don't know if an underground shop would be feasible. Where would I put all that extra dirt:thinking: I could dump it all in Surpips yard:whistle: I'm gonna look into those do it yourself metal shops when I do one. Have that thing bolted to a big old slab of concrete.

The drive can be made in like an hour. You need to get out of the city and check out the incestrial part of Oklahoma:D

While he's close, I understand that the SE corner of the state, they take their incetrial quite seriously. From the stories I've heard though I wouldn't want to go. We have several cops up here and another retired that worked down there and needless to say they have some stories..............:D

Dayum! $23K won't buy a quarter-acre bare lot in most places. Nice score! :) Looks like it's pretty far out in the boonies, just from looking on maps.google.com

Not really seams as thou theres a town every 5-10 miles around here. Coming from a town of 112 people it's like living in the city to Me. Im only about 30 miles from Shawnee which is a pretty good size town and has everything you need.

It does. Where? I haven't noticed any, maybe it's not quite the same as the stuff back home:wink1: It is funny there was this guy at work trying to tell Me about all these big growers in the area:rolleyes: I let him know where I was from and that these idiots around here wouldn't hold a candle to the kids back home let alone the big league guys.

NICE score, brother!!!!! Geez, it costs about $23K for a bathroom renovation in my town.......

Actually, come to think of it, I spent just about that much for a piece of fibreglass with a V8 behind it.:doah:
