Can it be welded by a shop and good to go...or do I need to get another manfiold? IT has a pretty nice crack...about 4" long or so.

    If I need to replace it...anyone got a LH exhaust manifold for a 1987 454?? /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

You can weld it and it may hold. Or it may just crack again. If you can find a good manifold it would be better to replace it. I would only try and weld up antique manifolds that are hard to find.

replace it... if it is prone to cracking in that one spot who knows how many other cracks are on their way in other spots even if the first is welded up well.
