crate engine ?

    Do the chevy crate engines have provisions for the early style engine mounts like our 69-72 K5s have?

    The engine mounting holes in the blocks are the same. They haven't changed since late model year 1957 on the small block. The early 57's had no side holes, you had to use the front holes under the heads to mount them. If you ever run across one of those grab it and sell it to a collector, they are worth buck$ Three holes in a triangle pattern on the side have been the norm since then.
