I have been browsing crate engines on the net and have seen many models(LS1,ZZ4,350HP ect.). What 'model' is in my truck now??? or are these just some kind of standard configurations? Will any or all of these fit my K5?

Just a little note....I would like to retain some kind of fuel injection and I dont see alot of ads reflecting fuel injection.

and standard type small block will fit in your truck. ie not the ls1. you could put in in there but youed have to change alot of stuff. your tbi injection isnt much more than the intake an tbi unit so what u need is a sbc long block and bolt ur intake and tbi to that. the zz4 will work. some of them with the high performance cams u might need to get a new chip burned for maximum performance and drivability.

    If I don't get a big block, I will get a "383-HT" Crate Motor.
