I saw a gray primer 72 K-5 this weekend down by Southcenter Mall (Seattle). The thing had huge lift and 44" tires. The lift consisted of unconnected leaf springs stacked between the axel and the actual leaf springs. He must have had about 20 of them stacked in there. How safe is that? Craziest lift "system" I've ever seen /forums/images/icons/confused.gif Wish I had a camera.

i dont think thats safe at all.did the other springs have a center pin through them or not?with enuf force he would push out the springs no matter how tight the ubolts were.i busted my center pin and about lost my springs in the rear.i also still had the lift block in there that didnt help much either i dont think.

We've got a spring shop here in town that has them and also a driveline place that carries centering pins.
