My friend has had one since December. He likes it a lot, and I know he uses the hell out of it. In my opinion, it's pretty well made and works as well as an iPod, but I like the controls of an iPod better than the Creative Zen's. I find them a lot easier to use, and a lot more difficult to do something you didn't mean to. Not to mention my Nano is so small I don't even know it's there most times.

I have the one gig Creative Labs mp3 player. It is great! Small enough that I can put it in my helmet when I go out on the sled or dirt bike. Easy to connect to any PC. I used to use it to transfer files until I got a one gig thumb drive. I also like that I can pull songs of the mp3 player in my truck. Don't know too much about the IPod, but I think you have to use ITunes to transfer music. Much easier to just plug in and transfer without having to use a program.
