    Crishin\' the crush sleeve...need help.

OK so I am crushin' the crush sleeve on my 14FF and got it to about 30 inch pounds. I installed it into the housing and now it takes over 40 inch pounds to turn the pinion. WTF is up with that? I installed all new bearings including the little one that goes in the housing. Is this normal?
    Thanks
    Brent

First off, remember that the inch pound figure is how much it takes to rotate the pinion and not what it takes to make it start moving. Once the pinion is installed in the housing you are also now turning the ring gear as well unless you have it removed.
