I was just wondering. I have collected a few parts for a cross over steering conversion. I have a few two wheel drive streering boxes, some flat knuckles and also a few of the threaded on both end tie rods. I was just wondering if these parts sound interesting to anyone and what would you offer me for them. Or even better does anyone know what these parts should sell for. Thank you for all your help that you guys have given me on this site. P.S. I am trying to thin out my parts collection.

Depends, where do you live? I may be interested in a 2x steering box and a flat top knuckle. For value...I have no clue. I was planning on hitting the local junk yard the next "warm weekend and pulling these parts, so if I can get them without getting my butt frozen...

If the steering box is in good shape I will take one off your hands.

What years are those steering boxes? If the years are right, I may take one from you too. I've read from "Ken" and some others that they are like $30 at the bone yard. Shipping might hurt the wallet to some though. Anyways, let me know the years.

Hey,Id be interested in one of those steering boxes. The best deal i can come up with here in Utah is 75.00.I still cant find a flat knuckle dana44 to send to Off Road Designs so they can machine it for the crossover steering setup.I dont know what they are worth but id give 100.00 $ for one in good shape. Are they in good shape?do you clean them?Plus ive been to dealerships and they want around 125.00 for a tie rod off of an 80's model blazer.....so ......and they are getting harder to find in the wrecking yards.Just let me know what you need to get out of them and ill get back to you.THANKS FOR YOUR TIME.

I am not sure what the exact year truck the box came off of. Tell you what let me know what years everyone needs and I will try and get what you need. I have found some in the yards around here and I am still trying to get rid of the few I have laying around the garage.

If you can get them cheap, then I will take a 2WD steering gear box for my 75' K5 (yes, it has power steering). From my understanding, any 2WD steering gear box from 73 to 79 should definately work b/c it will have the same fitting for the powersteering hose. Let me know what you find. And yeah, like Corey said, where are you located???
