I'm looking for a crossmember and driveshafts for a granny 4 speed /205 3/4 ton long wheel base 4x4. Are there any other combination of tranny and crossmember that will work with my set up? 350/205? 208? 203? I know it's not a blazer but it's as close as I can get for now!

    thanks

If I recall correctly the cross members for all are the same, just where they mount is different. That is unless you are refering to the various adapters between the different trannies and cases, then there is a world of difference.

208 and and newer are different. 73-81 are the ones your looking for and I belive the 203 and 205 are interchangable. some of the early trucks had 2 crossmemebers (my 75 has 2). One wraped around the frame and the other just is flat across the bottom. later gm went to just the single across the bottom style in like 77 or 78. My 79 has just the bottom mount. Now I also understand some of the early trucks that had 205's had a torq bracket to the frame.
