Need some opinions! I'm setting up xover (no high steer) on my 79 chevy dana44. I have the ORD pitman arm set up for TRE, a "tall" WFO steering arm 1.5''tall. It was a good deal. The arm is tapered for the gm draglink. Not a problem. Here's the issue. The truck has about 10" on it. (8" superlift springs, 0 rate, and a little bit of shackle lift). Should I re-taper the ORD pitman arm to take a GM draglink (because of the extra angle capability)? I think so... Will all this function without a spacer on the steering arm even with ORD's bent draglink. What do you guys think?
