crossover steering (the Knuckles)

    i have a guy with a d44 knuckles to sell to me but he has two sets. one set came from a truck with disc brakes and the other drums. there both pre 76

    how do we tell them apart. i have disc brakes

    r there any ovious features between them /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

    I could be wrong but I think the only difference is the clocking of the bolt pattern for the spindle.
     
  3. I didn't want to jump on this one, but I think you are right about the clocking of how the bolts are. you do not want the drum brake version though. I think it will work with modifications. There was some talk awhile back about this, but couldn't find any of the details. I can send you pics of what mine look like. I still have them sitting in a box waiting for the money fairy to drop some more cash my way for my crossover.
