Consittering crossover steering. I'll be using a Dana 44 up front for atleast a couple years. But will go Dana 60 in the future. What all is usable for Crossover steering on both the 44 and 60 ??? Or would I need to replace all ???

well..most of it should be the same, pitman arm, drag link..but the steering arm will be different....im not sure if there would be a length difference between the 44 and 60 as far as the drag link goes???

The only thing you will have to change when you go to the 60 is the steering arm on the knuckle. You will only invest the total amount once (theoretically). You should be able to sell the crossover arm and knuckle (off the 44) down the road and pay for your 60 arm that way.

I called Steve at ORD about this about a month ago. He said you will most likely have to change everything execpt the steering box and pitman arm oviously. He told me to just wait until you get the 60 (I got it now) becuase you will probably end up buying everything twice since the angles are different etc. That is what he told me so I waited, you may want to give him a call anyway however, but you will probably get the same answer.
