I had a 12 Bolt rear diff... I just installed a 14FF diff... I need the crossover u-joint to do the job... 447 is apparently not the one I need... since I bought it and it just doesnt fit into my driveshaft yoke... anyone know the number for the one I need? Is there one to convert a 12 bolt sized joint to the 14 bolt sized one?
    Thanks
    Mike

do you need the one with internal lock rings or external on the driveshaft? Just tell the people at the parts store you want one for changing from a small chevy to a big chevy they will know, unless its canadian tire or something /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
The one for external clips is spicer #460
    internal is #648
I think these numbers are right only seen them at the driveshaft shop for a few seconds. He didn't have the #460 so I had to go to the parts store and picked up a presicion joint #348 is what i ended up getting but it was $40

Yeah Napa is the only parts store we have in town so its the easiest to go to but its the one I go to least. Just to replace my stock u joint I went up to Auto Zone 3 times and they still gave me the wrong one, I went to Napa and they gave me the right one the first time.
