Hey, zactly where is Crown King? I'm down here in Tucson as well. Can't make it this weekend due to Pop Warner football,(our team is kickin' some ass!) but I want to get on some trails soon.

    Re: CROWN KING RUN- AZ

Shoot, I'm sorry to disappoint. But I have my little girls 5th birthday party this weekend.
And I am trying to swing a deal on a Suburban this week, and it may roll into this weekend also.
I will be ready next time, I sent you a e-mail that explains.
"Crown King" is between Phoenix and Prescott, near Black Canyon City (sort of?) anyway, you start out behind "lake Pleasant" which I believe is classified as Peoria. This is the back way to Crown King (make that the FUN way to CK).
I hate it when a plan craps out, I know there were several others talking about going, so maybe if I bounce this thread back to the top, one or more of them will see it and still be able to go.
(FWP is new to Arizona, and we all crap out, whats he gonna think?)

Bummer, sorry ya'll can't go. Moose, sorry about the motor[sad], have fun withyour kids Scooby, they're fun at that age[IMG]. I'm going to drive around the area anyway, just to explore. Probably just stay on the forest roads, if I'm by myself. Even though I don't know exactly where I'll be going, any-body else want to go?

It would seem with that front auburn l/s it torques up the shaft and tweaks the yokes enough for the cap c-clip to fall out and its only a matter of time before she spits a cap....don't know about David...heard he broke his u-joint.

    Re: CROWN KING RUN- AZ

That's a good piece of info for me, as I was thinkin of putting in an Auburn up front (It's open now). You think a locker would have the same effect?

Oh ya...just the locker would add more pressure...the only way i see to prevent this problem would be to use ORD's chrome moly shafts...and of course occasionally we will all break a u-joint...part of the sport.

WOW you went! COOL glad to hear it and I'm glad you liked it! Not many runs have a reward at the end of the trail like Crown King.
You can kick back, have a brew, and a Hot meal.[IMG]you can't beat that!
    Who all went???
